  5. How Do Typical Classroom Practices Address Our Students’ Stories? Taking tests Reading print text Listening to lectures Making oral presentations Working in groups Whole class discussions Using a computer Seat work Taking notes Writing essays/reports

  6. It’s not our kids that are the problem; it’s the curriculum! We need to redesign curriculum and instruction to meet the needs of a wide variety of students from the start.
