NextGen Integration & Evaluation Capability (NIEC) • Synergism of lab capabilities already at the Tech Center • Rapid prototyping and simulation environment anchored by a new “Display Area” • Supports “integration and evaluation” of new NextGen concepts & technologies • Fast time & real-time human-in-the-loop simulations • Overall NIEC is scalable with multiple levels of fidelity • NIEC Display Area - medium fidelity • Main labs - high fidelity • Good mix of legacy systems and new technologies • Supports “transition” to NextGen
