  1. How Much Does the Board of Your Child’s Secondary Education Matter? Many people in India wonder, how do Indian kids in the gulf, especially the middle east manage to get education that is at par with the Indian standards? How is it that they are able to learn their native languages at their schools? Well, this should not be a big surprise given the huge number of Indian expatriate population in these countries. In some places, the situation has turned out such, that the immigrant population has outnumbered the native population of that middle eastern country. So Indian values and culture will definitely be a part of the society the kids live in. When we talk about education, then as a mandate, central education board of our country, which is the Central Board of Secondary Education no other board in the country can have their schools abroad. Any Indian school over seas will have to be CBSE school franchise and will have to, as other CBSE schools in the country, adhere strictly to the rules and regulations and the notices issues by the board. Which is why, these students are able to apply for colleges in India based on their 12th standard marks. They even appear for the board exams just like the other students of the country. An Indian school franchise in these countries has established not just an education system representing India but has also garnered lots of praise and appreciation for the same. It has bought to the other part of the world the promising and well-structured curriculum. In some schools in some countries of the middle east, it is not a mandate for the student to have to be an Indian. In this way, we are not just educating children from India but also imparting knowledge and wisdom to kids of the other countries. If you see in India, there has always been an unsaid war between schools and students following a specific board. The students who study under the CBSE claim to have a tougher curriculum than that of the SSC where- as, the CICSE board students have always boasted about the ocean full of syllabus they have had to study under the board. However, the board is not recognized under government though the certificates of all the boards are valid worldwide. www.podarsmarterschools.com

  2. As parents and guardians, we always want the best for our kids, even if it is in terms of the secondary board that they study under. We want the best school franchise of the board However, more than the students, it is very important for the parents to understand that no matter where the student studies, and under what board, a child that it meant to shine will not loose his or her spark wherever they are. This war of the boards has been on since decades and is certain to go on for generations to come. But at the end, it is a given, that no board’s curriculum is any less than the other. In fact, they could actually gain some insights from each other, making learning a better experience for all the students, who are the future of the country. www.podarsmarterschools.com
