What is SAM.gov • The System for Award Management (SAM) is an official website of the U.S. government. There is no cost to use SAM. You can use this site for FREE to: • Register to do business with the U.S. government • Update or renew your entity registration • Check status of an entity registration • Search for entity registration and exclusion records
Why are you asking me to register in SAM? SAISD is required by Federal Statue(s) to ensure that vendors are neither debarred nor suspended from doing business with governmental entities.

How do I search for my record? • On the home screen click the “Search Records” icon • In the “Quick Search” bar you can enter your firm name or your firm’s DUNS number in the “DUNS Number Search” • DUNS number is a unique identifier for your firm; use this number if you know it

How do I know if my entity is active? • If your search returns “no records found” the following may have occurred: • Your registration has lapsed and is not active; you will need to renew • Your registration is set to private, and you will need update your entity profile to public • Your entity is not registered in Bonfire
