  13. Peer review AERA proposals are given a 1 to 5 rating for the following 10 criteria: 1. Choice of problem/topic 2. Theoretical framework 3. Methods 4. Data Sources 5. Conclusions/interpretations 6. Quality of Writing/Organization 7. Contribution to the field 8. Membership appeal 9. Would you (reviewer) attend? 10. Overall recommendation • 1 is always the least favorable response, 5 is the most favorable response. You must also write a paragraph for each

  14. Peer review Each person is to review three other proposals. Go to the people page and review the research proposals for the next three people after you Turn in these reviews to Punya & Matt (by email) by the next class. Remember you have to provide written feedback on each point (in addition to the numeric score). Try to make the feedback as constructive as possible (in this regard this review is different from regular AERA review.
