    4. Goal of This Session To gather input to aid in planning FACS curriculum for our upcoming revision of the Standard Course of Study

    5. What challenges will students face? Instructions Work in teams. Brainstorm challenges students will face. Write each challenge on a post-it note. Be prepared to share with the whole group.

    22. Questions for Discussion What do students NEED TO KNOW in these FACS core areas? What EXISTING COURSES already serve these needs? What NEW COURSES may be needed? What CAREER CLUSTERS do our existing and potential courses support? What OTHER ISSUES do you suggest should be addressed during the SCOS revision?

    24. Team Rotation Instructions:: Starting at your home base, brainstorm responses to five questions under “NEED TO KNOW,” “EXISTING COURSES”, “NEW COURSES”, “CAREER CLUSTERS”, and “OTHER ISSUES”. Record your individual ideas on the yellow graphic organizer handout. Use the large white graphic organizer to record your group consensus. At the end of 5 minutes, rotate clockwise when you hear the signal. You will rotate to each site and back to home base to complete this activity and report out.

    25. Team Reports Teams choose a reporter. Report highlights/big ideas for the core area where your team started the rotation.
