  3. Ro ROLL OUT THE RED CARPET!

  4. REGISTRATION GUIDELINES Arrive on time. Dress professionally, but wear comfortable shoes. Do not drink or eat in the registration area. Do not chew gum. SMILE – and SMILE AGAIN

  5. STUFF WE KNOW! • Attendees sometime don’t know their name. • If they say someone else registered them they probably didn’t. • People need to be told to look at the program. • A smile and “enjoy the conference” go a long way.

  6. IMPORTANT! Don’t take money, checks or purchase orders. Direct individual to the registration manager.

  7. TOP CHALLENGES • Can’t locate their name badge. • Wanted a special meal but didn’t have a ticket in their packet. • Can’t remember what sessions they signed up for. • Name badge wrong

  8. THE ULTIMATE GOALS • Get attendees their badge and materials quickly, friendly and efficiently. • Answer basic questions – “where is the main session”, “where are the bathrooms”, etc. • If you don’t know the answer to a question, refer them to the registration manager. Keep the line moving!

  9. THANK YOU
