Lesson 12 - Land Slope and Erosion Slope- the degree of change in elevation over a length of land a. water and slope * steeper the hill = more slope = more erosion * flatter the land = less slope = less erosion b. wind and slope * steeper slope = bare land = more wind erosion c. gravity and slope * steeper slope = fast moving water = water erosion = nutrients washed away = plants can't grow (few trees and grass)
