  1. Zarathushti Cultural Centerof Delaware Valley, Inc. MISSION STATEMENT IT IS OUR VISION TO PRESERVE ZARATHUSHTI HERITAGE AND FAITH FOR FUTURE AND PRESENT GENERATIONS THROUGH RELIGIOUS, EDUCATIONAL, AND CULTURAL ACTIVITIES. IN ORDER TO FOSTER THESE ACTIVITIES, IT IS OUR MISSION TO BUILD A ZARATHUSHTI CULTURAL CENTER THAT WILL BRING THE COMMUNITY TOGETHER IN A COMMON PLACE, GIVE US A SENSE OF BELONGING, AND HELP US LEAVE A LEGACY FOR THE FUTURE.

  2. Why we need the Center • Religious Activities • Prayer Hall • Religious ceremonies like Jashan, Muktad • Religious Events, Navjote, Lagan, etc. • Learning Center • Monthly Religious classes • Library • Any other classes/activities

  3. Need for Center (contd.) • Cultural Activities • Pateti and Jamshedi Navroze functions • Annual Ghambar • Place to congregate for young and seniors • Fund raising events • Community Events • Family events like, birthdays, graduation, etc. • New Year function

  4. Conceptual Framework • Approx. 3 acres of land • Covered area about 6000 sq.ft in phase I • Will include • Hall to accommodate 250 people • Library, kitchen, bathroom facilities • Conversion capability into classrooms • Parking for 100 cars

  8. Fundraising Proposal • 65 families donate $10,000 over a period of 3 years $650,000 • Donations < $10,000 $150,000 • Fund raising events $ 50,000 • Large donations $350,000 • Total amount raised $1,200,000

  9. Maintenance Expenses • Gas/Electricity $ 8,000 • Water/sewage $ 2,000 • Insurance $15,000 • Cleaning service $ 2,500 • Lawn Services $ 2,500 • Security $ 1,500 • Repair reserve $ 3,500 • Total Annual Expense$35,000
