  3. WHO Was Involved? • The American troops were directed by Col.   5. WHY Did It Happen? • This event happened because the British were killing everyone on there land. PUT PICTURE HERE • This event happened on June 17, 1775. • The British planned the war on June 16, 1775 then on June 17, 1775 they attacked. • On July 4, 1776 the Colonistssigned the Declaration of Independence. • On Christmas night 1776 Washington went on the attack. • The Americans had one big victory late in 1777.
