Then, I added up the miles and got a total of 47.5 miles each week. Next, I added 47.5 three times to see how many miles Scott runs in three weeks. 47.5 47.5 +47.5 142.5 In 3 weeks, Scott will have run 142.5 miles.

It took Jamie 1 ½ hours to complete her homework.
