Super Saturdays (3 hour block training)

Banking hours (6 continuing education hours)

Presentations to special education administration

3. Secure a nationally recognized leader in the field of literacy to conduct parish wide training

Select assessment tool to be piloted and require a literacy objective on each child's IEP based on result of the assessment

Establish a list of resources to support literacy at all levels

Schedule “make and take” workshops to provide teachers with at least 1 complete module to start with (RNC, Severe/Profound, Moderate classes) approx. 53 teachers

Implement alternate pencils in pilot classrooms
