  2. Introducing Worker B Wellness A place to heal mind, body and soul. Worker B Wellness may be new, but our roots are well established. Like our sister company, Worker B, which has been making hand-crafted, sustainably sourced raw varietal honey and artisanal skin care products since 2010, our mission is to promote health and healing for people and bees. More than a spa, WBW offers a wide array of holistic services that help heal mind, body and soul. Clients can choose from salt treatments that can improve respiratory conditions and skin issues, infrared sauna sessions that assist with relaxation and reduce chronic pain and float sessions that help relieve anxiety and enhance athletic recovery. We also have a specially designed menu of facials for every skin type, as well as one special treatment that includes facial reflexology to help clients heal from the inside out. Massages are equally varied, including treatments for relaxation and stress relief, lymphatic stagnation and detoxification, deep tissue muscle recovery and pregnancy-related discomfort. Because we are grounded in the practice of apitherapy (bee therapy), we incorporate Worker B’s bee-derived skincare products into each of our treatments to help boost the beneficial effects. We also continuously vent air from our four rooftop beehives into the center. Hive air is naturally anti-inflammatory and is believed to ease or relieve many health issues, including allergies, asthma, bronchitis, chronic headaches, COPD, sinusitis and more. Hive air is most concentrated in our custom-designed Beeswax Meditation Room. One of just a few such rooms in the world, WBW’s Beeswax Meditation Room is meant to be a peaceful sanctuary where clients can relax or meditate between scheduled services. Both the walls and the room’s barrel-shaped vaulted ceiling are coated with beeswax, giving the room a peaceful glow and pleasant scent that is enhanced by heated floors. Scheduled to open in September, Worker B Wellness is a place where clients can stop in for one rejuvenating treatment or combine several services for a whole day of wellness and relaxation. No matter what service clients choose, they can be sure that every treatment WBW offers has been researched, sourced and created with care. We want clients to not just feel better when they walk out the door. We want people to go home with a better understanding of how to care for and heal themselves.

  13. Facial Program • WBW Signature Facial: • WBW’s signature facial is special for a reason. We use silk cocoons for this treatment because they contain sericin, a protein used to improve skin elasticity and reduce wrinkles by increasing moisture retention. Made by silkworms, the cocoons produce immediately visible results, improving skin texture and radiance while also refining pores. Worker B products, chosen for your skin type, will be used to enhance your treatment. During 90-minute appointments, your esthetician will also apply a Worker B facial mask to further support your skin’s health. • WBW Deep Pore Facial: • Our deep pore facial is perfect for irritated, inflamed and/or acne-prone skin. Based on holistic products and extractions, this treatment will reduce inflammation and breakouts and reveal radiant skin. For best results, this treatment should be done about every three weeks. Worker B’s custom facial care products are used in this facial to support your skin’s health. • WBW Facial Reflexology: • This unique facial is customized for you following an analysis of your skin. Designed to aid the body inside and out, this treatment is based on the Dien Chan method of facial reflexology. While you relax, your practitioner will stimulate specific facial points to boost your immune system and help your body rebalance naturally. In addition to beautiful skin, you’ll experience an improved sense of well-being and relaxation. A customized Worker B facial mask will also be applied to hydrate and support your skin’s health.

  14. Facial Program (CONT.) • WBW Young Adult Facial: • This 45-minute facial is great for young adults and those who want to address specific skin issues. After a customized skin analysis, your esthetician will choose Worker B products suited to your needs. Acne-prone skin, inflamed skin, dry or oily skin—we can help. For best results, plan two to three treatment sessions. • WBW Facial Peel: • WBW’s facial peels are unlike any other because we incorporate Worker B’s custom skin care products into every treatment. Following an analysis of your skin, your esthetician will choose either an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) or a beta hydroxy acid (BHA) for your peel. The treatment works by exfoliating your skin, removing dead skin cells and oils to reveal the radiant skin beneath.

  15. Massage Therapy Services • WBW Signature Massage: • Swedish-style bodywork is relaxing, gentle and can be tailored to meet everyone’s needs. WBW’s signature full-body Swedish massage uses Worker B’s blended massage oil to increase circulation, stretch tissues, reduce stress and promote a deep sense of relaxation and well-being. An herbal compress to assist in relieving sinus congestion or muscular tension is an offered application with your massage. • WBW Lymphatic Massage: • Our lymphatic massage is relaxing and detoxifying at the same time. Your practitioner will provide a full-body lymphatic massage to help flush toxins from your lymph system and promote healthy lymphatic function. A good treatment seasonally and for general wellness, this massage may also helpful for post-surgical conditions.

  16. Massage Therapy Services (CONT.) • WBW Deep Tissue Muscle Recovery: • WBW’s deep tissue muscle recovery massage is a full-body treatment that combines trigger-point therapy, cross-fiber friction, neuromuscular therapy and other techniques to promote deep relaxation and reduce stress. 17. Float Therapy • Our Revolution float tanks contain warm water and enough Epsom salt to allow you to float effortlessly with the lid open or closed. Float therapy session begins with a guided meditation that will take you through a series of deep breathing exercises to encouraging full relaxation during your float. You will also benefit from the effects of Epsom salt (magnesium sulfate), which draws toxins from the body to ease inflammation, soreness and stiffness in muscles and joints.

  18. Infrared Sauna Services • WBW offers infrared dry sauna therapy to assist in detoxification. Since infrared light waves heat the body and not the room, temperatures are more comfortable for people who don’t like the high heat of traditional saunas. • Infrared Sauna with Salt Therapy: • This treatment combines infrared sauna and salt therapy for a relaxing, detoxifying experience. Infrared salt treatments offer additional benefits because the heat warms the body internally, allowing the skin and respiratory system to open (dilate) and increase the delivery and effectiveness of the salt. You simply breathe deeply and relax.

  19. Salt Services • Also known as halotherapy, dry salt therapy may help relieve respiratory conditions, other skin problems. Salt treatments are provided in our infrared sauna therapy room, giving you the option of having a treatment with or without infrared heat. During your treatment, a specialized halogenerator will grind pharmaceutical-grade salt into minute, breathable particles and pump them into the air.

  20. Beeswax Meditation (Apitherapy) • Apitherapy is an integrative therapy that involves using honey and other bee-derived products for a variety of healing purposes. Because beehive air is vented into our wellness center from our rooftop beehives, apitherapy is already a part of any service you have at WBW. While here, we invite you to visit our Beeswax Meditation Room, where the highest concentration of hive air is located. Created as a sanctuary, this special room is a place where you can let go of stress and breathe deeply, inhaling both hive air and beeswax-infused air as you meditate or simply relax. Time in the Beeswax Meditation Room is complimentary, and we encourage you to visit in between your scheduled services, or before or after. Bees are hived on the rooftop between May and October providing beehive air. In the months that the bees are not on the roof, the beeswax meditation room have a propolis diffuser dispersing propolis a bee product that supports respiratory health.
