  3. Places in Fremont • Tri-City Health Center • Kaiser Permanente • Washington Hospital • Any other medical facility (call them specifically) • ***ALL SERVICES ARE CONFIDENTIAL***

  4. Can I go during school? YES! • 1) Make an appointment first • 2) CALL week before you WANT an appointment (or ASAP!) • 3) Must show proof of being at appointment when you return • Name of Clinic • Time they were there • Who saw them • 4) Can go anytime during school hours- it’s excused and parents are NOT notified unless you want! • www.511.org to find a bus route!

Tri-City Health Center • FREE services which include: • FREE Pregnancy testing • FREE STD testing and treatment (Syphilis and HPV not avail at Tri-City but can be referred out to get that testing. Kaiser does this test.) • FREE medication/treatment for STDs • FREE HPV Vaccine (Gardasil) • FREE birth control (pill, shot, patch, IUD, etc.) • Free condoms and instruction on HOW to use (15 count, lubrication, instructions on how to use, and websites). “Brown bag” – no paper • Free Emergency Contraception • *KAISER PERMANENTE offers same services for Kaiser members only!

Cont. • If someone needs E.C. – try to call Tri-City ASAP – don’t wait until day 5! • If you’re established patient, EASIEST way • If new patient- a little harder to get them in (registration process, counseling process)- See Ms. Ryan for forms to save time! • Call them ASAP – you may have to wait a day to get your appointment! • Don’t WAIT 2-3 days – they may be booked

  7. What tests are available? • Urine STD testing, mainly GC • Rapid HIV test • Pregnancy test • IF symptoms present (herpes, warts) culture or lab send out, other STD’s (may be referred out) • Pap Smears

  8. How long for results? • Pregnancy- same day if urine • Rapid HIV- 20 minutes • All other tests – 3-10 days (or less through Kaiser or Washington Hospital)
