  2. 1st Semester Keyboarding • Review Technique, Posture, Home Row, & Keyboard • All the Right Type 4 Online • Desktop Publishing • Word Processing Skills, speed, creating, saving, editing, formatting, columns, & tables

  3. All The Right Type 4 Online The ATRT program is accessible any place the internet is available.

  4. Motivation for Students “All The Right Type 4 Online” (ATRT) motivates the students to develop their keyboarding skills. While the focus is always on learning, a space race, fireworks, humorous cartoon puzzles, trophies and printable achievement certificates make hard work fun!

  6. ATRT ~ Review • Posture Review • Hand-Position Review • Mouse Review game: gives students the control and dexterity needed for mouse skills. • Numeric keypad Review

  7. Features of ATRT • Practice Pavilion - Builds speed using skills developed in the Learning Lab. • Testing Center - Select either timed writing or speed goal tests. • Learning Lab - Teaches proper posture and hand position. • Records Library - Students can view and print their results at any time. • Skill Building - Students challenge their skills with a series of graduated drills containing words, sentences and paragraphs. • Games – Practice skills learned

Order of Lessons ~ ATRT Always use the order of the individual units: Learning Lab, Practice Pavilion, Skill Builders and then the corresponding test! • Week 1 Home Row, E & U, Caps & Periods Test 1a, 1b, 1c • Week 2 R & I, G & H, O & V Test 2a, 2b, 2c, 2d, 2e, 2f • Week 3 T & Y, B & C, M & N Test 3a, 3b, 3c, 3d • Week 4 P & Q, W & Z, X & Apostrophe Test 4a, 4b, 4c, 4d, 4e, 4f • Week 5 Comma & ?, 1 & 2, 3 & 4 Test 5a, 5b, 5c, 5d, 5e, 5f • Week 6 5 & 6, 7 & 8, 9 & 0 Test 6a, 6b, 6c, 6d, 6e, 6f

  9. ATRT ~ Grading Scale GRADEWPM 100 30 95 25 90 20 85 15 80 10 75 7 • 5 -2 for every error over 3 +5 for no errors Highest possible grade is 105
