Discover GALILEO:A Little History • Live on October 1, 2012 • Digital Library of Georgia and Civil Rights Digital Library included • GIL catalogs (except for consolidating institutions) loaded by May 2013 • GIL catalogs for consolidated institutions loaded July and November of 2013 • Localizations starting in July 2013 and still in progress
What is discovery? Unified Index Citations from publishers – Wiley, Sage, Springer, Elsevier, T&F, etc. Collections from a vendor or “databases” (Literature Resource Center, JSTOR Arts and Sciences, etc.) MARC records from your catalog EBSCO collections
