  2. 2009-2010 Accomplishments • Established a policy to provide professional development to all district staff members • Continued to pursue a solution to assist in the network utilization and monitoring system • Continued to fully implement SharePoint Server Portal for a district wide intranet to allow staff to share and communicate information more effectively and efficiently • Continue to implement and utilize the SharePoint server to provide teacher web sites • Began researching and developing a plan to consolidate the High School datacenter to create a more manageable and energy efficient environment • Began developing and started implementing the teacher and student technology proficiency assessment • Ensured consistency of student management data district wide through training and monitoring of data entry staff • Began to implement and utilize the assessment component within the student management system • Integrated the replacement cycle purchased equipment in the district

Reviewed and Renewed the district Antivirus software with a three year contract to realize an 18% savings over three years • Establish a 3 year 4 month Honeywell Alert Service contract to realize a 3% savings • Researched, developed and implemented a cell phone cost reduction plan to assist the district in realizing 40% savings in cell phone costs in the2010-2011 budget • Implemented AppliTracks into the district to support the employment application and screening process • Implemented ProTraxx into the district to support the CEU requirements for maintaining and recording • Began to support the Town of Haddam, Town Hall which allowed the Town Hall to realize savings in technology support and equipment purchases. • Evaluated and implemented a cost effective solution to solve the internet slow speed issues for Burr and Haddam elementary schools • Realized a $20,000 payment reduction in the Microsoft License line for the 2010-2011 budget due to a licensing renewal date change • Continued to infuse the support request system in the district
