Where are we talking about? • Ancient India
Who and When? • In the 700s Muslims front Central Asia are going to invaded India and break it up into small kingdoms. • Around 1000 they had fought so bad that the Turks were able to come in and rule them. • It wasn’t until the 1500s that they were able to unite.
What happens? • The people native to were mostly Hindu while the Mughals who were taking over were Muslim. • The two groups did not get along and fought for centuries.
Who Unites them? • At 11 years old Babur took over a kingdom in Uzbekistan and Tajikstan but then was kicked out by the Turks. • So he built an army and took it back over and started the Mughal Empire. • However, he died shortly after. • His son was not a good ruler and lost everything. • Once he dies his son Akbar becomes the next leader.
