Mark 8:22-26-Vision restoration complete. • V.22-23: Is Jesus trying to heal the man? • Jesus has resurrected the dead, walked on water, fed thousands of people. Why is he now “trying” to heal a blind man? • Why record this story before Christ literally begins his trek to the cross? • Answer: See Scripture.

We can learn what not to do from the disciples: • We cannot create a personal messiah. • We cannot mold Jesus into our image. • We cannot pick and choose the Jesus we desire.
