  1. CSTS STANDARDS COMMITTEE Purpose: Promote consistency across all CSTS user group agencies while respecting each agency’s business practices.

  2. As a subcommittee of the CSTS Executive Committee, the CSTS Standards Committee, on behalf of the Corrections User Group, is responsible for the following • Develop and promote standards of usage related to CSTS functionality • Review new CSTS functionality prior to release date to identify and develop standards related material that will assist User Group agencies • Work on one-time standards related projects (i.e. standard conditions, reference table values) • Communicate with the Corrections User Group about standards related topics • Serve as a resource to all agencies for CSTS standards of usage or business process related questions • Identify areas where consistency in data entry is critical for reports and integration, including approval of all lock down tables

Standards Committee Participation • Anyone interested can attend • We meet the 4th Tuesday of every month, 10:00 am – 12:15 pm, in Plymouth at the STI office • During this last year these individuals, in addition to the official members have participated: • This participation is invaluable! Our discussions and decisions (yes we make them!) are based on more insight, questions, and ideas.

  5. CSTS DESIGN/ENHANCEMENT COMMITTEE Mission: To provide support to the CSTS Executive Committee and Corrections User Group in the development of CSTS.

RESPONSIBILITIES • Report to and receive direction from the Executive Committee • Communicate and coordinate with the Standards and Facility Admissions committees • Review and prioritize all enhancement requests submitted by members • Consult and direct on software design and business process rules • Review work from subject matter specific committees (i.e. Case Plan, etc.) • Review software changes requested from other counties

ACCOMPLISHMENTS • Reviewed and prioritized enhancement requests that were included in the recent releases and future releases • Reviewed the work on the following subject specific committees: • MNPAT • Case Plan • Reviewed Web Version Phase One work • Reviewed and approved Hennepin County project work as base functionality

Facility Admissions User group2018-19 Accomplishments • Paid-In-Full Integration project FA financial commitment • Ramsey County joined FA user group • Designed and adopted a new FA annual fee model effective 1/1/2020 • Monthly Reviews: Integration Program + Hennepin phase II enhancements • CSTS/JAIMS integration/platform beta test – release’s I, II, III • Integrated model = Anoka • Stand-a-lone model = NW • Version III released to all members for testing / Anoka to go into Production

Facility Admissions User group2019-20 Focus • FA membership on CSTS Standards & Enhancement Committees • Hennepin County data conversion and Phase II upgrade • Phase II upgrade and Ramsey County gap analysis (timeline TBD) • Explore MCF Red Wing membership (Last Mn juvenile facility not in FA)
