  2. Setting • The setting takes place in ty’s junior high, the football field, and lucy’s bar. The junior high is important because that’s where he goes five days of the week. The football field is important because that’s where he digs deep and finds himself. Lucy’s bar is important because that’s where the conflict is.

  3. Characters

  4. Conflict Ty Lewis lives with and works for his uncle Gus, but his uncle is looking to rake in the dough when his brother gets drafted to the NFL, his uncle soon gets involved with the mob and their gambling, suddenly he realizes the odds are against him. The conflict is man vs man

Ty will eventually get to play football too but in order for him to play he has to get information for his uncle so he can gamble.

  7. Point of View • This book is from first person point of view from Ty’s perspective. It seems like the story wouldn’t be the same as if it was a different point of view. First person point of view fits better on this story from my perspective.

  8. Symbolism • The symbol I chose for this book is football. I chose this symbol because football is important in the story.

  9. Recommendation • This book is worth reading to me because I am a football fan and I love Tim Greene’s books.
