Session Aims: The overall aim of the session is to: • Provide learners with the core knowledge and understanding of project management techniques as applied in the business world using project management software. Learners should be able to analyse a project by computer-based methods using business software techniques, which will be further explored in this session. • Provide learners with access to the 1st assignment and to provide general support and guidance on its completion. Learning Outcomes: • By the end of the session learners should be able to: • Enter project data into project management software to determine the critical path. • Use such project data to produce PERT and • Use such project data to produce GANTT charts. • Print off the 1st assignment and ask questions as deemed appropriate.
