    • experiences among Programs.

Specific Objectives

  • To present the final version of the documents, Building Blocks: Comprehensive-Care Guide for People Living with TB/HIV Co-Infection in Latin America and the Caribbean; and to receive feedback on it.

  • To discuss the development of policies on TB/HIV at the national and Regional levels.

  • To evaluate and make recommendations on collaboration strategies between TB Programs and HIV/AIDS Programs, at the country level.

Expected Results

  • To have reviewed, improved and approved the proposed final version of the document Building Blocks: Comprehensive-Care Guide for People Living with TB/HIV Co-Infection in Latin America and the Caribbean.

  • To have discussed proposals for Regional adaptation of the document Guidelines for Implementing Collaborative TB and HIV Programme Activities(WHO/ CDS/ TB/ 2003.319), with a view to future implementation.
