  3. NCCER Curriculum Whats worked for me • Textbooks at the high school level • how do kids learn these days? • how could I use what they do to my advantage? • Communicating with students for the purpose of learning

  4. Contren Connect • What is it? • How do I implement it? • What makes it better than using the textbooks? • Is it an supplement or a full source for developing lessons? • How does it meet the needs of my students?

  5. The Automated National Registry(ANR) • What is the purpose? • How to get kids to "buy into" it. • Benefits of earlier implementation in the school year. • How to get parents on board.

  6. Wrapping Up • Students learn best by communicating the way they know how • Computers are a key component • Contren Connect gives students an excellent avenue to better understand and communicate with you their understanding of the content. • ANR can be "sold" to the parents at an early back to school night as the best avenue for their children entering the workplace.
