The Nifty Fifties Rock’n’Roll – A genre of music that originated and evolved in the United States in the late 1940’s and early 1950’s Piano and Saxophone were early lead instruments Classic Rock’n’Roll is played with two guitars, a bass and a drum kit. Boogie Woogie Blues rhythm with an accentuated backbeat Influenced television, movies, lifestyles, fashion, attitudes and language Spawned several sub-genres, all know simply as “rock” or “rock music”
