  2. Confirmed case, Montserrado County ConfirmedCaseCase H.G is a 2 years old female from LAC Grand Bassa County. Date of onset of symptoms: March 22,2018. Travelled History : travelled to Monrovia along with a relative on March 28, 2018 .Presented at Fredai Clinic in Somalia Drive District on March 28, 2018 with symptoms of fever and vomiting, was treated for Malaria and discharged. On March 29, 2018 ,re-admitted at Fredai and later referred to J.D.J Hospital, but she was not allowed in due to the absence of electricity, was thereby referred to MSF Hospital with symptoms of fever and convulsion. Blood sample collected, Lab result shows positive of Lassa fever.

  4. Montserrado update Epidemiology and Surveillance: No new suspected case reported as of April 5, 2018. Contacts have gone seven (7)days of follow-up A total of thirty four (34) Contacts: Commonwealth (3), Somalia Drive (23)Bushrod (4), Central Monrovia (4) were followed up today in Liberia and Paris.(The Expatriate Doctor is being monitored by MSF Infectious Unit in Paris). All of the contacts were seen and monitored and none symptomatic.

  5. Grand Bassa update Case (mother to H.G), died on 23 March in LAC, Grand Bassa and was subsequently buried. Death certificate indicated suspected Lassa fever as cause of death Specimen of the deceased was collected by health authority of Grand Bassa County, result shows positive of Lassa fever. No new suspected case reported as of April 5, 2018 Total contacts listed six (6) Some contacts gone 14 days follow-up while others 7 days follow-up All of the contacts were seen and monitored and none symptomatic
