SysML Modelica Integration Working Group Meeting 9/2/09

  5. Future • Option 1: Request for Comments (RFC): SysML – Modelica Transformation Specification • Option 2: Request for Proposals (RFP) • Option 3: SysML v2.0 – fold SysML-Modelica profile into SysML language • Option 4: not standardize

Future • Option 1: Request for Comments (RFC): SysML – Modelica Transformation Specification • Would be the first specification of an (MDA-like) transformation • Is faster than the other options • Requires vendor implementation and active user community: • The active communities are SysML and Modelica • Need a prototype implementation and commitments of vendors • Modelica – MathCore, OpenModelica, Dymola, MOFLON
