Important Dates • SATs – at JFHS on October 6th ( register by September 7th ) and March 9 ( register by Feb 8, 2013) • *Fee waivers are available for those on free or reduced lunch-see your child’s counselor • ACT- next date is October 27th at LCA and LHS. • PSATs – at JFHS on October 17th (for Juniors who want to compete in the National Merit Scholarship Program) • College Night at Heritage H. S. on September 19th, 7-9 PM • Financial Aid Night at JFHS in January • NCAA- register at eligibilitycenter.org.

  4. College Visits • Attention Seniors and Juniors: Periodically throughout the year there will be Admissions Counselors from various colleges visiting your school. If you would like to attend one of these informative sessions, please sign up in the Guidance Office. Currently, these are the schools and times that a college representative will be here:

  5. College Application Procedures • fill out a Transcript Release Form for each college ( form is in Guidance and on JF guidance webpage). Parent must sign. • 2 week notice to send transcripts, recommendations , etc. • 1st five transcripts are free, $5 per transcript after that.

  7. Dual Enrollment • Dual Enrollment classes at JF ( English 111 or Math 163) tuition is due by Friday, August 31, 2012. Tuition is $93.29 per semester for each course. A letter was mailed home with tuition information for all D.E. classes. • Tuition for 2nd semester will be due in January 2013. • Last day to drop a class with full refund is Tuesday Sept. 4, 2012.
