HTX:CIHR 2006-07 R&D Program • RFA Release – September 2005 • Development and Commercialization of Medical and Assistive Technologies by Ontario R&D Teams: Reducing Waiting Times or Enhancing Service Throughputs – R&D Program -2006-2007 • Funding up to $127,500 per project with CIHR:HTX matching nominally 1:2 • 9 Projects Funded • HTX -$736,603 CIHR - $244,602 • Business Cash - 118,500 Business In-kind $626,914 • Total Contributions: $1,726,619

HTX:OCE 2006-07 Business Partnership Program (ORCP Pilot) • RFA Released December 2005 • Theme: Convergent Technologies – ICT and MAT • Funding up to $100K/project • SME applies • Brings academic partner or HTX facilitates partnership • 7 projects Funded • Peer Review OCE - $194,500 HTX - $389,000 Business Cash - $213,100 Business In-kind - $540,332 Total Contribution - $1,336,932

HTX:CIHR 2007-08 SME Program • RFA Release – September 2006 • Development and Commercialization of Medical and Assistive Technologies by Ontario R&D Teams: Reducing Waiting Times or Enhancing Service Throughputs – SME Program -2007-2008 • Funding up to $127,500 per project with equal amounts from HTX, CIHR and Business (Business contribution can be 25% cash and the rest in-kind) • 2 Stages: LOI and Full Proposal (8 LOIs received and invited for Full Proposals) • Peer Review Teams

HTX:OCE:IRAP 2007-08 Business Investment Program • Theme: Convergent Technologies – ICT and MAT • Funding up to $100K/project • SME applies • Brings academic partner or HTX facilitates partnership • 2 Stages: EOI and Full Proposal (33 EOIs received – 14 invited to submit Full Proposal) • Peer Review
