AN INTRODUCTION TO THE DAUGHTERS OF THE NILE CHARITABLE GIVING PROGRAM • 1913 Daughters of the Nile registered as a certified Non-Profit Charitable Organization by the Government of the United States of America • 1924 Imperial Shrine of North America accepted first donation from Daughters of the Nile and continues to do so annually • 1955 Introduction of Stepping Stones to Happiness Certificate • 1955 Expansion of the Convalescent Endowment Fund (CEF) and Convalescent Relief Fund (CRF) (now CRA) • 1996 Charitable Giving Committee replaced Wills and Bequests • 1997 Introducing the “MY GIFT PROGRAM” • 2007 Daughters of the Nile Foundation registered in the United States as a 501(c)(3) public charity

  10. Season of Children Ornaments • This series of ornaments is unique in that each one is designed to reflect the Egyptian heritage of Daughters of the Nile. In June each year, a new ornament is introduced at Supreme Session, and the previous year’s ornament is retired. The current year's ornament is available for a lower contribution than those that have been retired. This is a wonderful gift and creates a lovely collection.
