Are they to perhaps salvage their broken relationship? • Why does Martha seem to be so bent on revenge? • Near the end of the story Martha says, “I don’t suppose, maybe, we could....” When she says this is she perhaps making the suggestion that George and her go back to accepting the illusion of their son or maybe to begin a new one?
