  9. How much money should I take? You will need extra money for: Snacks on ferry/ coach stops (approx. £5-10) Extra drinks/snacks/lunch each day (10-20 € per day) Souvenirs

  10. What do I need to remember to bring?

  11. What must I not bring? Too much luggage! PLEASE! Only 1 medium suitcase – 15kgs. max. & 1 day bag (rucksack)

  12. What to wear?

General Expectations of StudentsAmbassadors of St Wilfrid’s SchoolNo alcohol, cigarettes or illegal substances Follow instructions and be polite at all times to staff and other students Sensible behaviour at all times Sanctions will be enforced Students could be sent home at a cost to parents

In The HotelStudents are not allowed on their own in their rooms at all times for security purposes, even when of same gender.Boys must not go into girls rooms Girls must not go into boys rooms Lock doors of bedroomsAny valuables can be kept for safe keeping by designated staff member. Socialising will take place in the allocated places only.Dangers of balconies and windows.Behaviour around the corridors and hotel must be exemplary.

Coach & Ferry TransportationStudents will be in head count groups Do not leave baggage and valuables unattendedNo purchases from Duty Free*Stay alert and keep their eyes on the staff member to whose sub-group they belong at all timesAll pupils will be issued with emergency contact numbers for Kev and the School Group LeaderExemplary behaviour around members of the public

  16. Students MUST NOT access the internet or social media Students will have an emergency contact card with the hotel contact details in French if separated from the group. Parents have the school mobile number and hotel number in case of an emergencySchool Mobile Number: 07423079253

  17. MedicationYou will have already given the school a medical form. I will use this a summary for pupil medical information. Information needs to be as detailed and up to date as possible. Please inform me of any changes prior to visitEuropean Health Insurance Card All medication should be labelled with dosage and your child's name and given to a member of staff by the parent before they get on the coach. Medication can not be given out if this is not completed. No student should be self-medicating, unless this is agreed on the medical forms.
