Requirements - News • Install INN news server and start it at boot time • Make sure you run innd and nnrpd separately • Using CNFS and TradSpool for different newsgroups • Create a newsgroup: na.test • Feed at least na.test to your friend's news server • Accept the same news group from your friend's news server • Create a moderated newsgroup: na.moderated • Make your as moderator • Allow NCTU user to read and post (NNRP) • Run news.daily by crontab • Expire your articles periodically • Make sure your logs work well

  3. Requirements - SNMP • Setup bsnmp • install UCD-SNMP • Be familiar with snmpwalk/snmpget commands • Setup MRTG/RRDtool for monitoring your server • Network flow information • System loading information • Etc.(at least monitor 5 numbers in your system)
