  2. District Simplified Grants • Utilize a portion of the district’s DDF • Itemized and budgeted humanitarian good and services • Local community projects • International projects • Direct Rotarian involvement

  3. Policies and Guidelines • Adherence to standard grant policies • Used only for eligible items/activities • Close community research/interaction • Rotary Club funds entire project up-front • Upon completion of report, District 7620 sends grant check to club

  4. Rotarian Involvement • Community assessment • Project committee • Project implementation • Liaison with beneficiaries • Hands-on involvement • Project promotion

  5. Request Procedure • Submit District 7620 DSG Application • Minimum of 2 weeks in advance of project • Send to KathyMcP@aol.com • Content • Project name, location, description, objectives, start and finish dates • Publicity • Financing, Contacts, Signatures

  6. Reporting Procedure • District 7620 DSG Report • Send to KathyMcP@aol.com • Within 1 month of completion • Content • What was done, when and where, beneficiaries • Rotary Involvement, #’s, examples • Publicity • Final Financial Report • Signatures

  7. Stewardship • Maintain accounting records • ALL expenditures must be within TRF guidelines • No donations to existing projects or other organizations • No contributions to other TRF programs • When in doubt, refer to the Best Practices manual or consult with your Grants Coordinator
