Key Activities in 2006 • Student Branch Website Contest • March 15, 2006 • 1st Place: University of Michigan – Dearborn (3rd Place in International) • Leadership Conference and Ethics Competition • October 21 at Valparaiso University • 1st Place: Valparaiso University • Undergraduate Student Paper Contest • May 07, at Michigan St U, in conjunction with EIT 2006 • 1st Place: Adam Knapp, Noah Liebman, Greg Berman, and Tim Evarhart; University of Michigan – Ann Arbor • IEEEXtreme Programming Contest (International) • Participant: Purdue University

Plan for 2007 • Student Branch Website Contest • March 15, 2007 • Leadership Conference and Undergraduate Student Paper Contest • May 17, in conjunction with EIT 2007 • Goal of Leadership Conference is to: • Train student leaders in branch management • Inform branch officers of the value of IEEE membership • Leadership Conference and Ethics Competition • Fall 2007 • Venue to be determined • Promote greater participation in IEEE organized international contests and activities
