Established in May 2012, the Khulumani Forum Theatre Group, a part of the Khulumani Support Group Victim Empowerment Programme, showcases a repertoire of four productions. Comprised of young individuals from Soweto, the group skillfully presents societal issues and encourages audience interaction, with strong female figures, emotional releases, and public discussions. Through realistic portrayals and humor, the group addresses uncomfortable topics like xenophobia and societal acceptance of outsiders. Performances are held in informal settings like Emdeni Bus Terminal, Zola, and Pimville, using local language and participatory elements to engage "spectactors."
