  1. The exceptional ring has a history of carrying the identity of powerful ruler and dynasty If we look back into history, we will find that for hundreds and thousands of years men of power used Signet rings as a form of identification and the community. Signet rings originated from amongst the religious leaders and Pharaohs of ancient times. This ring with special engraving can be worn on the fingers in two ways. Firstly, the view from the wearer with the engraving turned downward, and secondly, the view from the engraving turned upwards. The signet should carry any symbol or design as chosen by the wearer to provide a status symbol. Some royal dynasties that exist today still wear this ring to reflect their social status and the dynasty they belong to. We come to know from the record of the past that during the ancient civilization, the people of Mesopotamia used a cylindrical seal as the mark of authenticity. This is where the concept of seal originated for government organizations and the corporate world. The word “signet” came from the Latin word “signum” which means sign. These rings were made to symbolize the family or the dynasty crest and were used as a mark of seal on the royal documents. In the early days, these rings were a symbol of society and the position one belongs to. The rings represented elegance and carry a level of class. Today, these rings have lost their importance to that level as it has become far less necessary. The men who wear them now are nothing but a simple heirlooms handed down through generations. This special type of jewelry fascinates and encouraged women to wear it. A signet can also be worn as a wedding ring. Many people wear this ring on their middle finger and have a preference for this jewelry. Even celebrities and renowned socialites have a desire and use this ring. In the world of men’s jewelry signets have always been significant as a sign of wealth and status.
