  1. Begin a new Google Doc… It should be titled, EXACTLY like this: Hour ___, First Name Last Name, Outsiders Wrap Up

  2. Today’s Entry • Title today’s entry with the date, like this: 10/16 • Answer the following questions: • Read the first sentence of the book, then the last sentence of the book. What do you notice about them? • Think about our F-words. What f-word can you attach to this occurrence and explain how you know that is true. • Flip to page 77. CAREFULLY read through the poem TWICE. Jot down some of the mental images or pictures that this poem creates in your head (i.e. imagery). • Based on the images that you jotted down in your previous question, what do you believe to be the meaning of this poem? Explain.

  3. When you are done with this… Keep your iPad with you. Grab a copy of the Foreshadow Chart and begin working on that while you wait to discuss this.
