How did Philip II of Macedon pave the way for cultural change? • Philip began bringing the city-states of Greece together into a league and competition among them. • Philip conquered the Greek city-states with a fast sweep of his new army. • Philip created new trade routes where Greek traders shared Greek technological advances. • Philip created a massive army that destroyed the cultures with which it came into contact.
