Settlement Observations- Price and Cost to Serve Load Dec • Cost to Serve Load Dec 2011- • Revenue Neutrality down to $0.15 (from $0.42 in Nov) SEWG may want to continue to analyze RENA in 2012 • RTSPP Analysis Dec 2011- • Milder weather led to prices averaging at “normal” levels • Count of high price intervals (North Zone) • Greater than $500- 12 • Greater than $1,000- 3 • Greater than $100- 36 • Less than $18- 368 • West Zone: Less than $18- 1,225

SEWG Initiatives for 2012 • NPRR 347 and other items impacting Credit and Settlement Timeline • Implementation of NPRR 347 will dramatically impact the settlement timeline and processing of invoices • Systems will need to be changed and tested with ERCOT to ensure smooth transition • Settlement Handbook Phase II • Expanding on the draft to add additional detail as well as maintaining handbook due to changes to Protocols • Revenue Neutrality • Investigating drivers and spikes to RENA • Support changes to settlements from NPRRs • Base Point Deviation
