  8. Prime osservazioni:Science Verification (Jan 24 - Feb 02, 2003) C. Cacciari, A. Bragaglia, E. Rossetti, F. Fusi Pecci, G. Mulas, E. Carretta, R.G. Gratton, Y. Momany & L. Pasquini: Mass motions and chromospheres of RGB stars in the globular cluster NGC 2808, 2003, A & A, 413, 343 UVES @580: 20 stelle H-alpha, Na I D MEDUSA: 117 stelle H-alpha, Na I D, Ca II H+K BVJHK ==> Teff, g, L

  9. Diagnostici di cromosfera e/o atmosfera estesa/mass outflow: Ca II K,Na I D, Hα Emissione presenza di cromosfera e/o atmosfera estesa  mass loss ? Hαblue/red ali di emissione Ca II Kblue/red emissione al centro dell'assorbimento

  10. Profili Hα osservati con UVES

  11. Profili Hα sottratto il template

  12. Profili Ca II H & K

  15. E. Carretta, A. Bragaglia, C. Cacciari & E. Rossetti: Proton capture elements in the globular cluster NGC2808 I. First detection of large variations in Na abundances along the RGB, 2003, A&A 410, 143 • Na D & sintesi spettrale •  abbondanze di Na per • 81 stelle RGB osservate • con GIRAFFE/MEDUSA • variazioni di [Na/Fe] a tutti i livelli di luminosità  origine primordiale

  18. Conclusionisulla partecipazione a FLAMES Guadagno? • Know-how tecnologico (SW)  E. Rossetti • Progetto GIANO  Altri progetti ESO ? Tempo Garantito (11 notti) Esperienza per futuri programmi GO Decisamente positivo !
