  2. AFGHANISTAN TABLE TENNIS FEDERATION (ATTF) :Background • Introduced among Afghans in 1965 • Officially recognized by the Afghan Olympic Committee in the year 1981 • Got membership of the ITTF in the year 2004 • Became the 200th member of the ITTF

  3. AFGHANISTAN TABLE TENNIS FEDERATION (ATTF) Registered Provinces: • Kabul • Herat • Balkh • Baghlan • Faryab • Jowzjan • Nangarhar • Kandahar • Helmand • Ghazni • Parwan • Paktia • Khost • Bamyan

AFGHANISTAN TABLE TENNIS FEDERATION (ATTF) Name and number of the clubs in Kabul: There are as many as 25 active clubs with around 320 players in capital Kabul, some f which are: • Olypic Committee Club • Red Crescent Society Club • Kabul Orphanage Club • Kabul University Club • Azadi Printing Press Club • Pol-e-Technic Club • etc.

AFGHANISTAN TABLE TENNIS FEDERATION (ATTF) Names and number of clubs in other provinces: There are more than 68 clubs with around 1300 players in other provinces of Afghanistan, most notable of which are: • Kam Air club in Balkh province • RabiaBalkhi club in Balkh province • Jami club in Herat province • Ebn-e-Yamin club in Jowzjan province • Abdali club in Kandahar province

AFGHANISTAN TABLE TENNIS FEDERATION (ATTF) Challenges and Constraints: • Lack of enough funding to source proper training and practice venue • Lack of equipments • Lack of qualified coaches • Lack of qualified umpires • Lack of enough funding for the ATTF staff to attend important meetings and events outside Afghanistan • Lack of exposure of Afghan players in international events

AFGHANISTAN TABLE TENNIS FEDERATION (ATTF) Requirements: Construction of one fully equipped academy in capital Kabul and four academies in four different zones of the country and one office in Kabul. • 100 complete sets of standard tables • 500 complete sets of rickets • 200 field separators • 30 sets of chairs for referees • 500 kits, upper and trousers • 500 bags • 500 towels
