  2. 3300 Programming – Defining the SIP Peer • In ESM navigate to the Network Element Assignment form • System Configuration • Voice Network Configuration

  3. 3300 Programming – Defining the SIP Peer • In the Network Element Assignment form: • Assign a logical name to the remote 3300 SIP Peer • Select Other in the Type drop down list • Program the RTC IP address of the remote 3300 • Select SIP Peer checkbox • Program the SIP Peer Transport • Program the SIP Peer Port • Because this is a 3300 SIP Peer leave the other fields blank

  4. Programming the SIP Peer Profile • In System Configuration, navigate to Trunks, IP Networking/XNET. You will be using the following forms: • SIP Peer Profile • SIP Peer Profile Assignment

Programming the SIP Peer Profile • Create a new SIP Peer Profile: • Assign a logical label to the SIP Peer Profile • In the Network Element drop down list select the 3300 SIP Peer defined in the Network Element Assignment form • Select the IP address of the remote 3300 • Program the Trunk Service Assignment index for the SIP trunks • Specify the Maximum Simultaneous Calls (this number must be equal to or less than the number of SIP Trunk licenses for this system

  6. Programming the SIP Peer Profile Leave all other values in the SIP Peer Profile form at default when connecting to a remote 3300 ICP.

  7. Trunk Service Assignment form • In the Trunk Service Assignment form • Assign a unique Class of Service index for the SIP trunks • Because the SIP trunks will connect to a remote 3300, program Absorb 0 for Dial in Trunk Incoming Digit Modification

  8. Class of Service Options Assignment form • In the Class of Service Options Assignment form • Assign a label to the Class of Service index

  9. Class of Service Options Assignment form • In the Class of Service Options Assignment form • Select Yes for Public Network Access via DPNSS and Save

  10. ARS Programming • In the Digit Modification Assignment form use and index defined as • Number of Digits to Absorb 0

  11. ARS Programming • In the Route Assignment form create a Route • Select SIP Trunk as the Routing Medium • Choose the SIP Peer Profile created for the remote 3300 ICP • Specify the desired COR Group number • Assign the Digit Modification Number

  12. ARS Programming In the ARS Digits Dialed Assignment form program the required digit string and assign the route defined in the Route Assignment form
