  3. Some of Our Successful StockSelection Guidelines At purchase, the stock is above the 200 and 50 day moving average trend line. Make sure the stock performs at a higher level than its competition. At purchase, the stock needs to be at, or slightly above a 50 Relative Strength Indicator (RSI). 4. Always discuss your research and selection with your teammates before purchasing/selling.

  4. Why We Play We played this phenomenal game as a way to have fun learning! We learned to work together as a team and communicate well. We never thought to win, it was just an unbelievable addition to our experience.

  5. One Stock That Took Us to the TopGraham Packaging Company (GRM) Graham Packaging Co Inc. Common Stock (GRM) This chart shows the 200-daymoving average [green line] and the 50-day moving average [red line].

  7. Selling in the End When the game was coming to an end, we decided that we made enough money to sell all of our stock positions. We flattened our stock portfolio on rallies to accommodate our 2% brokerage commission. By liquidating our positions, we ensured our position in the standings with a big enough gap over second place to win the game!

  8. Our Stock Market Success Our team started off with $100,000. We then used our margin to invest another $100,000. Our final take home profit after expenses grossed $25,367. A gain of 25.37 % over a twelve week period.
