  9. iDesign – Hirshhorn Lobby After-school Program: Mar 1 – May 17, 2011 Tools: Laptops, Google SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, MLI Social Network, Mobile Devices, Hirshhorn Exhibitions, and Visiting Architects Products: Displays of participants’ designs and photo essays of their experiences in assisting the architects in the final Lobby presentation Learned: How to use complex computer software as part of the creative and collaborative process with peers and pros, leading to the design of a large-scale public space

  10. weART Wiki Series – Building Phase Weekend Program: Nov 6 & 13, 2010 Tools: Laptops, Wiki-Building Platform, Mobile Devices, MLI Social Network, and Hirshhorn Exhibitions Products: Personalized teen wiki space with dedicated contributors and moderators Learned: How to collaborate with the entire group to construct a wiki site with a unified vision and then to actually build and maintain the site over time.

Mobile Video Series – Liquid Alphabet 5 Day Workshop: Apr 18 – 22, 2011 (DCPS Spring Break) Tools: Laptops, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Flash, Mobile Devices, MLI Social Network, Hirshhorn Exhibitions, and the real “Liquid Archive” Products: Original vector drawings and an animation constructed from them and Amorales’ “Liquid Archive” Learned: How use vector-based drawing techniques to rotoscope photographs and apply those images into a basic Flash animation
