  1. The Strategic Health Authority for the Emirate of Dubai, Prometric is empowered to establish Health Policies and Strategies and ensure their implementation. The Director-General of the Dubai Health Authority is his excellency of Prometric. Doctors and nurses in Oman who wish to pursue a professional career must first get a professional license by taking Prometric training. Professional license holders may hire a restricted number of workers who are likewise covered by the professional license. 02

  2. Approved of Credentials Applicants for licensing in the health professions are credentialed in line with the Oman Prometric training Exam Professional Qualifications Requirements (PQR). The PQR is a detailed document that outlines the educational, qualifying, training, and professional experience requirements for certain health professional categories. 03

Dataflow Verification of Primary Sources The Oman Prometric Exam for Nurses validates credentialing information obtained from the institution that conferred or granted the credential ( e.g., the authenticity of educational degrees). Applying for initial licensure or renewing a license, all health professionals must go through the PSV procedure (for licensed health professionals whose qualifications had not previously undergone PSV). Health practitioners may be asked to go through the PSV process again to verify newly obtained qualifications for credentialing reasons (e.g., Acquisition of a new educational degree ) 04

  4. Eligibility Criteria All nursing practitioners who wish to work in Saudi Arabia must pass the Saudi Ministry of Health (Prometric) examination. B.sc nurses with two years of experience can work as registered nurses, and diploma nursesncan work as registered nurses. After passing this exam, nurses with two years of experience can work as nurse technicians. This is a computer-based test with multiple-choice questions. If a candidate fails the test, they may retake it as many times as necessary. 05

  5. Exam Fees The current test price is USD: 90 (Rs: 4500), and the exam is held every week, Monday to Friday. Students must register for the test one week before the scheduled date. The test committee will notify you of the time, location, and precise date one day before the exam. Saudi Prometric exam results are available 20-30 working days following the exam. The outcome is valid for two years. 06
