  2. What is the H.S.A? • Dynamic, ever-evolving, parent arm of school family • Place for parental involvement in school community • Place for information sharing, concern raising and school events planning

  3. Structure • General body – every parent • Class representatives or Lead Parents (volunteers) • Monthly meetings (2nd Wednesday at 6:15pm) • Sub-committee meetings to plan activities

  4. Activities • Information sharing and Awareness-raising meetings • Fundraising • Update “Parent Link” on School website • Halloween Party • Family Fun nights • International Cuisine • Teacher Appreciation Luncheon • SFA Parish Bizarre • End-of-Year Trip

  12. What can YOU do? • Commit to being an involved parent by: • Attending meetings • Responding to requests for information, involvement and donations • Sign up as a volunteer • Lead Parent/Class representative • Event Sub-committee member
