This study assesses the impact of social capital on sustainability in information technology clusters in Brazil. The findings highlight the influence of established relationships, information benefits, and trust levels on economic performance. Social capital has a strong positive correlation with worker shares, particularly in IT LPAs. However, environmental integration in productive processes remains low, as does involvement in social issues related to external stakeholders. Sustainable development in clusters is significantly influenced by social capital, emphasizing the need for increased involvement in environmental and social aspects. (348 characters)
