Background • E-Learning is a type of education where the medium of instruction is computer technology; where in some instances no in-person interaction takes place • Types of E-Learning instruction are Asynchronous and Synchronous • Asynchronous – No set login meeting time • Synchronous – Set login meeting time

  3. Benefits to Institutions • Expansion of degree and class offerings • Recruitment of qualified faculty • Increased Technology

  4. Benefits to Faculty • More teaching opportunities • More development opportunities • Less Travel and Time

  5. Benefits to Students • Increased Education Options • Flexible schedule • Development of technical skills

  6. Conclusion • E-Learning has enhanced the learning environment • The institution, faculty and students benefit from this learning environment • Because of E-Learning many people had the opportunity to change their lives for the better.
