  6. ON-LINE NEGOTIATING SUBMITTING A CASE

  8. Select On-Line Negotiating

  9. Fill out form

  10. Select Injury Details

  11. Enter initial offer

  12. Enter optional maximum settlement amount.

  13. Once the case is submitted, clickNsettle.com contacts the other party. The other party may then begin negotiating. Each party may submit an unlimited number of new offers or demand for up to 60 days. Each new offer must increase a minimum of 5%. Each new demand must decrease by a minimum of 5%. Either party may terminate negotiations at any time. If the last demand is within 30% if the last offer, the case settles for the midpoint of the offer and demand. If the last demand is less than the last offer, the case settles for the demand.

  18. ON-LINE NEGOTIATING REPORTING TOOLS

  19. Clicking on the Reports Icon brings up the Reports Page. Click on the Summary Reports for On-Line Negotiations.

  20. Here are the On-Line results for the eight sample Insurance Claims offices. Click on the first office, which has 188 cases.

  21. The On-Line results are displayed for that particular Claims Office, sub-totaled by Case Type by default. Click on Automobile.

  22. You will see the specific cases for that office. Click on the sixth case.

  23. The specific data is shown for that case. Click on the View History Icon.

  24. On this screen you will view the specific negotiating history for that case.

  30. After selecting Submit a Case, click on Arbitration.

  31. Fill out the form.

  32. Select preferred Hearing Officers from any state.

  33. Continue filling out Hearing Date, Time and Location Preferences as well as preferred high/lows. Click on the Continue Icon.

  34. Once the case is submitted, clickNsettle.com contacts all parties on the case. Once agreement has been reached between the parties with regard to the date, time and location of the hearing, as well as the Hearing Officer who will hear the case, the case is scheduled. The decision is provided to all parties once the Hearing Officer has submitted it to clickNsettle.com.

  42. Here you have the same statistics for that office, sub-totaled by Hearing Officer by default. Click on Charles Kuffner in the middle of the list.

  43. You have the cases that that Hearing Officer has presided over. Click on the second case in the list.

  45. You may also view these statistics, but sub-totaled by User.

  48. Here you see the number of arbitrations, the average high and low parameters and awards on those cases, and the average percent of money between the high and low that was awarded on those cases. Click on the first office in the list.

  49. The same statistics for that particular office, sub-totaled by Hearing Officer by default are shown. Very valuable data! Click on the AVG PCT Column Header.

  50. The same statistics are shown, but ordered by the average percent of money between the high and low parameters that each Hearing Officer has awarded.
